• Recommend corrective and maintenance services and explain to the customer which of these is required now to correct existing problems and which are for preventive maintenance.
  • Offer customers a price estimate for work to be performed.
  • Obtain prior authorization for all work done, in writing or by other means satisfactory to the customer.
  • Make every effort to keep the customer informed about appointments and completion deadlines.
  • Furnish an itemized invoice for parts and services, priced fairly, which clearly identifies any used or remanufactured parts. Replaced parts may be inspected upon request.
  • Furnish copies of any warranties covering parts or service.
  • Exercise reasonable care for the customer's property while it is being serviced.
  • Make every effort to fix the customer's vehicle right the "first time".
  • Maintain a system for fair settlement of customer's complaints.
  • Cooperate with established consumer complaint mediation activities.
  • Uphold the high standards of the profession and seek to correct any or all abuses within the automotive industry

Authorization:

By contracting with Russ's Service Garage for Service and Repairsyou are authorizing the repair work set forth in a service agreement you will receive at the time you reuqest the work. You will be acknowledging and authorizing, that along with the neccessary materials, that Russ's Service Garage, Inc is not responsible for loss or damage to the behicle or to articles left in the vehicle in case of fire, theft, or any other casuse beyond our control or for any delays caused by unaillability of parts or delays in parts shipments by the supplier or transporter. You, and or your employees, will be granting permission to operate the vehicle described on the streets, highways, or elsewhere for the purpose of testing and/or inspection. An express garage keepers lien will be acknowledged on the vehcile undergoing repairs or service to secure the amount of the repairs agreed to. Under the express garage keepers lien, you will not have the right of possession of the vehicle until repairs have been paid for in full or until you and/or your employee would alternately voluntarily release the vehicle to Russ's Service Garage Inc.

You are entitled by law to the return of all parts replaced, except those which are too heavy or large, and those required to be sent back to the manufacturer or distributor because of warranty work or an exchange agreement. You are entitled to inspect the parts which cannot be returned to you.
